Rates for scoping with audio using .wav files:
$1.20-$1.40/pg. for normal turnaround (5 days).
$1.65-$1.85/pg. for expedited (2-3 days).
$2.10-$2.50/pg. for daily copy.
$2.25-$2.75/pg. for immediate copy.
Video transcripts may be charged on the upper end of the scale. Difficult or extremely technical work will be charged at the higher page rate.
Rates for producing a rough transcript:
$.30/pg. for next-day turnaround
$.60/pg. for same-day turnaround
Creating a rough includes fixing untranslates and running a spell check. For repeat clients only.
Rates for proofreading:
$.40-.50/pg. for normal turnaround (2-3 days)
$.60-.75/pg. for expedite (1 day)
$.75-$1.00/pg. for daily (same day or overnight)
Proofreading may be done within Case CATalyst transcripts using scan marks to highlight problem areas or using a .txt document and completing an errata sheet. Other methods may also be discussed.
Invoices are sent out on the 16th and 1st of each month. Payment is due within two weeks of invoice. Late fees may be charged for overdue invoices unless other arrangements are made.
Payment options include QuickBooks payments (preferred method), Chase QuickPay, PayPal payments, and personal checks.

I am a college graduate with a BA in History who has been scoping for 11 years and proofreading for 13. Available for immediate copy, daily, expedited, and regular turnaround deposition work. I have experience working with court reporters from all over the country, but most of my scoping is for reporters working in Southern California for Veritext. References available upon request.
